LaserSoft Imaging

On the InstallShield, after picking location for software I get an error that says

1628:Failed to complete installation

What does this mean and how do I get through this?

I am using Windows 2000, trying to put the Photoshop Plugin on.

This is for a new Epson 1680 Firewire scanner.

was this the latest update you downloaded and tried to install (because we are using a different installer now - and the error message looks like an the former installer is being used)?

Please make sure to have the latest release installed and the SF_Logfile attached. Thanks in advance
