Serial number incompatibility

I downloaded and installed the SilverFast bundled SE 6 per instructions of the last reply. Now I am not able to use SilverFast without it being in demo mode. I think the reason may be that the serial number we have is for the disc that arrived with the scanner (SilverFast-SE v6.1.0r4) and is not being recognized as valid to run the new software configuration. Please suggest a course of action to resolve this problem. Thanks!
