Problem with serial after upgrade SE

Hi,

I am using Silverfast SE (SFF-6.0.1r16(Epson-SE)) with my Epson 3200 and everything is fine. Yesterday I've downloaded the SE upgrade (SFF-6.1.0r4(Epson-iSE)) and installed it.

The problem is that silverfast ask me for a serial and the serial that was given to me (with SFF-6.0.1r16(Epson-SE)) is not the good one.

Where can I find the new serial!

Dear user.

There is a difference between "SE" and the "iSE" version of SilverFast. Please download and install the normal "SE" version instead.

I am having exactly the same problem. When you go to download SE it gives you iSE. If there is an SE then where is it???

Dear Cindy.

On the download page, select "Version 6" and then "SilverFast bundle-SE 6". Then select "Download update(s)" and then your scanner model.

Serialization impossible

3 hours ago I bought Silverfast SE online and downloaded the software from the link which was offered on the receipt page.
Here I was obviously linked to the iSE version (in this forum I learned that the iSE is not the SE!).
After installing that ISE version the serial sent to me did not work.
Here in the forum I learned that to get a SE version you had to go via the bundle update longcut (who could have guessed something like that?).
So I downloaded that SE from the bundle-update and really got an SE.
But after uninstalling the iSE for the xth time and this time installing that new SE, the software accepted the serial but asked for an installation CD, which I don't have of course because I bought the software online (I really did not want to update from a bundle - I only wanted th get the SE version to go with the serial I was given.

All this is really annoying, it cost me more than 3 hours now of trying and looking around - and I still have no working version of the software I bought.

I suggest as a compensation Lasersoft ought to give me a free copy of Silverfast ai - with a working serial.

Dear Wolfgang.

It?s not sure that your bundle-SE version accepts the serial number, because the existance of the SilverFast is checked first.

Anyway, the bundle-SE version is not the correct version, you should use the iSE version. Why the iSE version doesn?t accept your serial number is unclear, but I have forwarded your problem to the support team.
