Silverfast 8.8.R10 cannot find scanner

I am using Silverfast 8.8.R7 with Plustek 8200i SE. SO is Mac OS High Sierra 10.13. When I try to update to any newer version of Silverfast, the software stops recognizing the scanner. I have updated the scanner with the latest drivers (april 2017) but Silverfast still cannot identify the scanner so I am forced to go back to version 8.8.R7.

Is there any solution?

Dear user,

SilverFast contains the most recent driver. Do not install the patch from the Plustek website.

Try the following:
First, reset SilverFast using the red button in the Welcome screen service dialog.
Then, uninstall SilverFast using the "uninstall SilverFast 8.app" in
/Applications/SilverFast Application/SilverFast 8/

Then, delete the Plustek****.framework files in
/Library/Frameworks/

After that directly install the latest SilverFast update from our website. Our updates are always full installation files.

I have done this--still does not work, I recently purchased SilverFast HDR--- and it works perfectly except that it will not recognise any scanner on my computer--running Mac OS 10.13.2

Dear user,

SilverFast HDR (Studio) is not a scanning software. It is our post-processing software for HDR(i) RAW archive scans and digital images.
