LaserSoft Imaging

Having installed the latest version of SF 6 for a SCSI Umax PLIII I find that when I start the SF program from either the APP or from PS7 the splash screen freezes on searching for devices and all the (2) devices are no longer available. Once restarted the SCSI probe app shows the scanners on the chain until I try to use SF again and then they vanish and SF has frozen again. SF 5 works fine. I use a Mac G4 9.2.2 With 2G of RAM and an Adaptec 2930 card. Any thoughts

Dear John,
did you check the LSI download site for newer SilverFast 6 release versions?
You mention two SCSI devices on your Adaptec card. Can you unplug the one that is NOT the Umax PL III ?
and then try with the latest SilverFast 6 update again.
If problems persist, please write a mail to LSI support (Main Menu on Website = Support > Problem Report).
