1 license, 2 computers, possible?

Before I'm getting jumped at, I did a search, found one similar topic, but in that one there was just a non-working link to an older topic I couldn't find, so here I go.

I'm using two scanners with two Silverfast 8 SE Plus licenses, one Canon 9000F and one Reflecta Proscan 7200. Usually I scan on my main computer with it's large display only. But now I have a busload of film to scan, both 120 and 35mm, so I downloaded the Reflecta version again and installed it on my Macbook so I can scan on both machines... but no, when I first start Silverfast I get a message that I need to insert my Silverfast 8 CD. I don't have one, only Silverfast 6 which I bought a digital upgrade for. So I click on "My computer doesn't have a CD/DVD drive" and... get a dialogue on the Lasersoft site that I need to exchange my old serial for a new one, rendering the old one unusable (the one I still use on my main computer) ?
Can it get even more complicated? Is there any non-nervewrecking solution for me so I can still get my scans done in the next couple of days? I really don't want to use Cyberview X. :(
Thanks in advance.

Dear user,

In case your computer does not have CD driver or the CD is lost you can exchange the CD serial for a name based here on our website.

Kind regards,
Arne

Thanks for the reply Arne. But that would mean I'd have to re-register the Version on my main computer too, right?
But anyway, in the meantime I fixed the problem myself, I completely forgot about the CD/DVD sharing feature in MacOS...
