LaserSoft Imaging

I have just purchased an Epson V85, which was delivered with Silverfast SE Plus 8. I am running the scanner on an iMac using OS 10.12, Sierra.I have installed the latest Epson driver for OS 10.12. After installing Silverfast from the supplied disc, and then trying to start it, I receive a message that there was a problem starting the scanner and to make sure the drivers are installed. I note that when I started Epson Scan, it defaulted to Twain mode. I do not know whether that is the issue, or whether the delivered Silverfast software does not worksite OS 10.12.

please make sure you have installed the latest EPSON Scan utilty and the latest SilverFast update from our website.
In case your package included older disks, they might not yet be fully OS X 10.12 compatible.
