Can't access SE from Photoshop (Mac)

I received SilverFast SE bundled with my new Epson Perfection 2450 scanner. I have done the install several times. The SilverFast option does not appear in the Import options in Photoshop. In fact, the Epson Twain option does not appear either.

Are you sure, you have installed SilverFast into the correct folder ? Possibly, you have multiple PhotoShops installed.
Did you install the PhotoShop or the TWAIN plugin ? If you have installed the TWAIN plugin and if you are using PhotoShop 6 or 7, SF should show up in the import menu directly. In previous versions of Photoshop, you have to select "import/TWAIN select source" and then "import/Acquire".
