I keep getting a System Error when trying to open SilverFast Ai Studio 8

Due to a computer hack, I had to install a new operating system . I am using a PC with Windows 7.

I tried to reinstall my SilverFast product but I get "SilverFast 8.exe - System Error" - This program cant start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.

How do I fix this?
