Photoshop CC plug in issues

I upgraded to the newest version of Silverfast 8.8.0 r2 and I can no longer use my photoshop plug in. I am using Photoshop CC 2014 on a OSX 10.7 MAC. Prior to the upgrade from an earlier version of Silverfast 8 I had no problems. The plugin worked fine in CC. Now it appears no plugin is installed automatically by the silver fast installer. No plugin is available to install manually using Adobe Extensions manager. Photoshop does not recognize my old plug in. Is this problem correctable. Is there a current Photoshop CC plugin for Silverfast 8.8.0r2 or am I just screwed because I made the mistake of updating?

I can scan fine from the standalone but that is not the workflow I prefer.

Dear customer,

Please try repairing the disk permissions using the OS X Disk Utility. Afterwards run the installer again.
