wrong software activated, need to correct

Need some help. I had installed and activated the SE version, completely in error, as I received an incorrect scanner and software from a supplier which I shall not name. The supplier has corrected the issue of wrong item/wrong software; however, I am now unable to install SilverFast 8 Ai Studio (the correct software in my purchase). It seems that I cannot get rid of the previous install of the SE version. Any suggestions? Win7 32bit.

Dear customer,

Please exchange your serial in the welcome screen's service dialog.
That will activate the Ai Studio module.
