LaserSoft Imaging

I have a Reflecta Proscan 7200. On the website of Proscan I see as latest software given Cyberview X 5.15.45 (dated january 2014). Does this include driver software needed for using Silverfast and must I install this? Because I am encountering very slow scanning rates and LaserSoft technical staff attributes this to the Reflecta driver, I am wondering if perhaps I am behind with the lastest necessary software.

No SilverFast does not use the driver included in CyberView.
You only need CyberView in case you need to update the firmware.
