Problems with installing SilverFast

I have just bought an Epson Perfection V750 Pro scanner and installed Silverfast SE Plus 8. When I activated the WorkFlowPilot and went into source the only options it gives me are photo & print. It does not give me the options of Negative, Kodachrome and Slide. I uninstalled & re-installed Silverfast but I still have the same problem. How do I resolve it so that I am able to scan negatives, Kodachrome & slides? Thank you. Andrew Johnston, Douglas, Isle of Man.

Dear customer,

SilverFast was not able to detect the transparency unit of your scanner.

Please shut down the Scanner and SilverFast.
Then unplug the cable connecting the transparency unit in the lid to the scanner's chassis.
Plug the cable back in and restart the scanner and SilverFast.

The transparency option should be available again.
