LaserSoft Imaging

I have need to reinstall my old PrimeFilm 1800u scanner (which came with PC version 2.41 software) on my computer which is running Win7. I have tried installing drivers and the current version of LaserSoft and LaserSoft will not recognize the scanner. I do have a printer/flatbed scanner, which I removed from the system and rebooted to no avail. What do I need to get this software installed on my computer?

If you could, could you provide me with detailed instructions? I appreciate it.

Dear Mr Simmons,

Windows 7 requires at least SilverFast 6.6.2.
Please make sure you are not using an older incompatible version.
