We planning to buy Silverfast Ai Studio 8 bundeled with a Reflecta RPS 7200 scanner.
But will use (share) the scanner on 2 different PC's One running Windows 7 (64bit), the other Windows 8 (64bit).
From other Forum topics did I understood that the Silverfast licence is connected to the scanner. So running it on separate PC's should not be an issue. Is that true?
But how can we handle the different OS versions? With the purchase of the scanner + Silverfast SW (http://www.scandig.de/)the OS needs to be selected.
Who can help me with this?
Kind regards,
Paul.

Re: shared W7 and W8 OS support
Dear Paul,
For licensing questions you can contact our sales department.
SilverFast 8 supports both Windows 7 and Windows 8.
The purchase is not limited to a certain OS.
On our website the OS selection is meant to make sure you purchase for a operating system your scanner does support.
I assume the ScanDig site does the same, but you will have to ask them to make sure.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn
