Nikon Coolscan V ED Connect

I have an issue connecting to the scanner.
First I got an Update of a Canon USB Scanner Driver. Afterwards I could no longer connect to my CoolScan.
I thought - no issue - just reinstall the Silverfast AI Studio. - I did so, but no improvement.
Then I removed Silverfast and reinstalled - no improvement.
Now I identified, that afer removal my License Info was gone and the Button for adding the License Info is "gray shadded".
Next Steps:
- Deinstalled Silverfast
- I cleaned up the registry.
- Installed Silverfast again
--> no improvement - I am not able to update the License Info. And therefore - I assume - I am not able to connect to the
Scanner.
Please could you give me a hint, how to remove the programm and re-enter the license - info? - Then I would be able to scan.
For verification I installed the Software on a different PC and everything works - but the PC is that slow, that I am not able to work there.
