LaserSoft Imaging

(I) Will SF-AI8 work under Windows 8 with a Nikon Coolscan LS 5000?
(II) Will extra drivers from Nikon be needed or do they come with SF-AI8 ?

We have already successfully tested the Nikon LS5000 on Windows 8.
The drivers are included in SilverFast but Windows must be started so it accepts unsigned drivers.
A manual on how to do this is available here.

After that the device manager will allow the driver installation.
In case the automatic installation does not start you can use the manual way.
The driver is called
NksUSB_IEEE1396 LSI.INF
and it is located in
C:/Windows/inf/
