in a few hours version 651r1 will be online, supporting the G4050 on Windows platorm !

As this is such a special beast, please be sure to update your drivers first to HP's 9.0 Release !

If you do so, 6 color Scan and Multi-Exposure ( for those who buy / test it ) should work fine.
Infrared Scan / correction is not yet supported, also Mac Version will *maybe* come later.

HP's 9.0 release seem to be targetted very specifically at Vista. Is there backward compatibility of HP's 9.0 Vista drivers to WinXP Pro? Will your software run on XP Pro with the 8.x drivers for the G4050 or do I have to move to Vista?

For Windows XP I only find driver version 8.3 on the webpage of HP.
Version 9.0 ist only made for Vista.
What should I do on Wondows XP?

i am using the 9.0 driver for XP as well, as i got the info from HP that this is a bug on the web.
9.0 works beautifully for me on XP, please let me know if it different for you !
