HP SCANJET 5590

Hello,
I trying to test silverfast demo software. The installation process was OK, but when I try to starting the software I receive "the scanner is not found".
This scanner working propely with vendor software.
I have a USB 1.0 port. Is this de problem??

could you tell me if you are using Mac OS or Windows and which Version of the Operatings System ?

did you already contact our support ( via email ) ?
If yes, may give me the assigned Ticket Number so i can "push" things a bit.
If no, please do so and mention my name in the e-mail, so i will care for that because your system should definately work with the 5590...
Please prepare and send your Logfile "SF_Logfile" so we can find out details about your hardware...

Dear Jlvsilva,
i think i might know what was wrong:
Our website had a wrong link, when you chose the 5590 you got the Version "SilverFast(HP)" but it should have been the version "SilverFast(HPSDK)".
This should be corrected by now !
Please deinstall the non-working version and download & install the corrected version.
