LaserSoft Imaging

Hi all,
anyone out there using a Powerlook 3000(maybe OS dependent;I`m using windows ME/XP)?
Did you notice,that since 5.5.0r09 scanning is much faster than in any version before?
A 24/36 mm scan at 3048 dpi(DOR mode) takes only 25 sec(with firmware 2.2)or about 6o sec(with firmware 2.0)(only scanning time without calibrating and focussing).Until version 5.5.0r06 it took about 2 min.!
BUT,look at the shadow areas,it`s resulting in MORE NOISE,of course!
I posted this several weeks ago to the forum and the support,but still no answer.
Maybe any of you could check that on his Powerlook 3000.
IMO we are really loosing quality!
(I did not set the scan to fast in the options of course!)

Could anyone from Lasersoft give me an answer,respectively read and answer to "new features wishlist-I want a working model"?
I`m waiting since 3 month to get an answer to this question.If you don`t want to give any support to the Powerlook 3000 scanner,you should not have sold SF for this model at all.I could have saved about 1300?!
