LaserSoft Imaging

Our Powerlook III which has been a great scanner quit working the other day. We tried to scan but it gave an error saying it couldn't find the scanner and the ready light continuously blinks. We have restarted the computer and scanner but nothing helped. Finally we ordered a repalcement lamp which also came with a new lamp circuit board and installed them. After doing so the option and the ready light now flash rapidly. Any idea what might be wrong?

Maybe it is a goog idea to ask Umax.
