The OS X plugin for Kodak RFS 3600 should be released next week. But for the SCSI interface only!

Full support for the USB interface for RFS 3600 will be released some time later.

I downloaded the demo of 6.0, and it did not work with the RFS 3600, OS 10.1.5 and SCSI. The SFApp program did not recognize the plug-in. Neither did Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0.

I sent an email to LSI, and now OS X is "not supported," per the website.

What is going on?

RFS 3600 and OS-X

The SilverFast development for the Kodak RFS 3600 is based on an SDK supplied by Pacific Image Electronics (they are the manufacturer of that scanner for Kodak). Since PIE does not supply an SDK yet for OS-X (as they are not yet having anything for OS-X for their other PrimeFilm scanners), there is nothing we can do for the time being!
