LaserSoft Imaging

I have an RFS3600 that I am getting ready to sell, but seem to have developed a problem with it. When batch scanning, Silverfast (AI version r28) will scan in the thumbnails fine; editing is also fine; but when I do the final scan, Silverfast freezes. There is no set number of final scans it'll do before it freezes - sometimes it'll freeze on number 4 of 5 - sometimes number 23 of 36...it's random.

I'm running XP Professional, with 512 meg ram, 1.7 GHz CPU and 18 gig free space. I've tried uninstallling and reinstalling, with the same problem. I've tried running the program on both my laptop and desktop, and have gotten the same results on both.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem and have any idea of how to get around this?

Please update your SilverFast version from www.silverfast.com

Thank you! I installed the latest version and was able to scan in a roll of 36 exposures with no problem.
