PictureViewer has encounted a problem and needs to change...

I am using SilverFast Ai Studio on F1 Microtek on XP with 380GB HD.
Has been functioning fine until today. I was in the middle of the SCAN process and up pops a Error Message.
"PictureViewer has encounted a problem and needs to change. We are sorry for the Inconvenience.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem.
Would this be a Windows XP problem or SilverFast?
I posted a simlar problem yesterday because I couldn't open and use Microtek ScanWizard Pro.

I can't use this software because it closes down after the message.
I did a Google on “FILESCAN MFC application has encountered a problem and needs to close†and it brings up several other people with similar scanner problems. Several; were using Microtek Scanners and Scan Wizard software.
Any suggestions?
