Infrared: Kodak, Ilford, Konica help

Any techniques to suggest for scanning Ilford SFX, konica 750, KHSIR? Having a hard time with posterization. Am new to all this and looking for any pointers- workflow, tips/tricks in SF.
35mms on Nikon cool4000ED.
