HDR workflow using Photoshop

Hi,

Could someone suggest a workflow for editing 48 bit HDR images in Photoshop, or show me where I could find one?

I have got some promising results from normal transparencies, but I am struggling with getting an accurate colour balance with Kodachrome scans. I am unclear as to whether to use "covert to" or "assign profile" for changing the scanner colourspace to sRGB - the latter lightens the image but seems to desaturate colours slightly.

Any other tips appreciated :)

Thanks,

Hello John,

Why do you want to change to sRGB? I would suggest keeping it at Prophoto RGB or Adobe RGB and only convert derivatives to sRGB as needed. Is your display colour corrected?
