It seems this is a normal slide, I too believe this can be handled by the normal slide mode in SilverFast.
I'm glad things are clear now.

check to see if the slide had varnish on it. i think that is too late to have had that treatment, though.

Regarding the comment about Silverfast having the last few rolls of Kodachrome earlier in the thread, I have an unopened, unused roll of Kodachrome 200 I am happy to donate to you if it is of any use.
Obviously, the "expiry date" on the pack was years ago, but if it is of any use I don't mind posting it to you.

Dear customer,

Thank you for the offer.
However it is not just the material itself.
Kodachrome requires a very special development technique.
When Kodak went out of business all labs which could develop this film were closed.
