resetting to blank (delete current image)

Greetings,

What is the recommended workflow for getting a fresh, empty workspace after scanning a frame?
The option of Frame --> Delete all frames worked for me last week, but doesn't work today so was thinking that I might be missing something--was looking for something in the Image menu (like delete current image) but nada.

Dear Donna,

Deleting the old frame and thereby creating a new frame resets all the settings to default.
In SilverFast Ai (Studio) you can also save frame settings and use these as default in the options under general.

All settings including preference options can be deleted through the Service Dialog.
Though this is seldom necessary.
