Kodachrome
Now that Silverfast has a nice solution for scanning Kodachrome how much further benefit would I see by doing a calibration with an Kodachrome IT8 target?

Re: Kodachrome
Hi,
the quantification of quality is always a hard job
Seriously, by doing an individual calibration with a genuine LaserSoft Imaging Kodachrome IT8-target you will replace the canned Kodachrome profile from the installation with a custom one calculated for your particular scanner as a result of the Auto-IT8 calibration process. This will mitigate potential color shifts coming from the potential production tolerances from scanner to scanner.
Best,
JAN

Re: Kodachrome
Right on. I guess it makes sense to go ahead and order the Kodachrome target. Thanks for the needed nudge.
