Question about resolution and image type.

I just purchased a Plustek Opticfilm 7300 for the purpose of scanning 50 year old Kodachrome slides. It came with Silverfast SE Plus 6.6.0, a truly amazing software which I look forward to becoming an expert in it's use. I have been using the standard type setting. Is this correct for Kodachrome slides? The end purpose is to create a slideshow in IDVD and burn it to disc to watch on a large screen TV. What resolution setting would be a good starting point to get a good picture on a 55/60" TV set? My slides have of course lots of dust and scratches which I hope to improve with the ISRD software. Your website lists Plustek 7200, 7500 and 7600 but not the 7300 which I have. Does that mean the ISRD function will not work this scanner? Thank you for your help!
