same parameters for a lot of frames

Hi,
I am discovering Silverfast SE with my Epson V700 and I would be happy if the parameters of the 1st frame of my film could be automatically applied to each frame of the entire film...for example the Gane filter.
For the moment, I must apply the desired parameters to each frame and its a long work !
Thanks for your help.

If you want to scan many images with different settings than those SilverFast has by default.
There are a couple of tips you can follow. The easiest way of copying the settings from one frame to other scanning frames is creating the first frame, set the desired scanning resolution, apply filters and image adjustments. Then you will press the “alt” key and keep it pressed while clicking with the mouse on the upper left corner of the other images you want to frame and scan.
This will create new frames with exactly the same settings as the first one.
If you already created all frames and you don’t want to adjust every single one of them but only one and then transfer its properties to all other frames, then you will have to select the first frame, set your scanning resolution and adjustments.
Now you will press and hold the “alt” key, while clicking within the frame area of the other frames, all the settings will be transfered to the frames you have clicked while holding the alt key pressed.
Cheers

Hi,
Thanks again for your help : it works.
Other question (no solution found in the forum...) : how can I delete all frames in one click ?
Regards.

Dear Jiceha,
glad you can now copy settings from one frame to other. Deleting all frames in one click is not possible in SilverFast, the program will always start deleting the actually selected frame first, then the one before the last one and so on. to speed up this proccess you can simply use the "delete" key or the trash can button located at the left side of the preview window.
Cheers

OK, it was just a detail in this soft I've never used before.
I've bought my Epson V700 1 1/2 year ago but Epson scan is not so good for BW films.
Regards.

I don't want to create another topic, so I decided to write here, hope you'll help me

I wonder, if it is possible to scan images with same settings, because it seems like when I'm creating new or copying an existing frame for another image, settings change or something.. For example, I found some nice looking settings for my first image, and scanned it. Also I like the way the second frame looks outside the frame. But when I select it, it changes color and contrast etc a lot, so I have to spend another 5 minutes or so finding good result for it.
I've uploded to snapshots, so you can understand what I'm talking about more clearly :
1st frame with my settings and a frame next to it, which looks good too:
That's what happens when I select the second frame:
Or maybe it works just like it has to, and I misunderstood the functions and process?

Dear mintkate,
you can create additional frames with identical behavior by:
-selecting the first frame.
-make settings to fit your needs.
-go to the
NegaFix dialog.
-If in SE(Plus) just deactivate "auto" and/or "CCR" function / in Ai(studio) open Epert dialog and deactivate "auto" and/or "CCR" function.
-Then copy the frame. The settings now stay the same no matter where you move the frame.
kind regards

Thanks

I unchecked the "auto" parameter, and it works now!
I tried it before, but didn't work from the first time, but now I've managed how to make it work.
