LaserSoft Imaging

I am using Ai v 6.4.4r7 that came with my Microtek i900

In the book Silverfast Official Guide it talks about downloading the photos from the CD.
In that manner you can do as you read.

I don't quite see how that will work with Ai, since all I can do is scan right?

Dear Fredy,

That is right, SilverFast Ai allows you only to scan not to view images.
I guess what they are referring to is illustration pictures on how to go about a specific topic perhaps?

Your assumption is correct.

Do you know if the book only deals with photographs?
Or does it deal with positive and negative film also?

My thought is that I could always get the photos printed and then scan them.
Unfortunately the film will be harder to create.
