color changes detection on scanned object - help needed

Postby spawik » Mon Jul 27, 2009 11:21 am

hi all,

I am looking for information if it is possible to detect changes on the object with repeated scanning. What I want to do is:
1) scan electronic board of the module
2) do some tests on module
3) scan again and detect areas where something (by mean: colour) has changed.

I am thinking of feature that will somehow code areas of scanned picture, compare them between 2 separate scans and highlight areas with changes.

Is there a way that my Silverfast AI software can do that?
