Hi all!
I tried do do as the NegaFix manual and Ians tutorial describes, and i have following questions.
First question:
Both the tutorial and the manual tells following steps
1 choose a frame,
2 set manufactor,
3 choose film brand,
4 choose film sensitivity,
5 adjust correction and
6 finaly press "auto adjust".
So far so good.
In my case, when i choose a film and manufacturer, the histogramm and graduation buttons automatically turns into red (like i would have allready pressed the auto button)! I checked this twice with a previous general reset. Pressing the auto button AFTER selecting a film makes no difference to the allready shown preview. Have i done something wrong on that or has this handling changed?
Second question:
In my example it was a Kodak Gold 200. When i select the Kodak Gold 200 in the settings, the preview looks much to bright (kinda over exposed). So i tried the 400 ASA setting and it looked a little better but even to bright. Only to swich in the expert mode and press the "auto" button brought up a preview that looks similar to the paper print! What?s going on with this functions?
Can someone show me the correct way, or tell me where i have been wrong?
System is Mac G4/400, OS 9.2.2
PS 6.01, SF 5.5.2r02
Nikon LS 30
thanks in advance
Wolfgang
