I have just purchased and OpticFilm 7500 which came with SilverFast 6.6 and i not figure out how to scan a film negative so that it comes out as a picture.
I have looked all over the place buy can not find out what settings of fix or maybe just find a way to invert the colors.
I know this must be pretty basic but it is driving me nuts and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Need Help - New to Scanning?
Dear Zesus,
You just have to select the "General" tab and then in the pos/neg menu you select "negative", it will open the dialog for NegaFix where you will choose the filmtype to make your scans.
Since you are now starting with SilverFast, you might want to check the documentation for the program which can be found at:
http://www.silverfast.com/documentation/en.html
There you will find information explaning this and many other topics in general.
