Does anyone know where I can obtain a Fuji IT 8 transparency target in either 35 mm or Medium Format size and of course the associated data file.
Regards,
Simon

The majority of my shooting is done on Fuji Astia color transparency.
I will be calling Fuji Graphic Services today about getting a 35mm IT-8 for my Nikon LS-2000 scanner.
I've been using 2 Kodak IT-8's and a CROES IT-8, but I'd feel most comfortable with a matched emulsion.
*** Where are the Fuji IT-8 Data description files located? ***
Thanks,
Jb.

Well I guess I'll be using my Kodak targets for a while longer.
The number to call to find a "Dealer Near You" that handles the IT-8 targets is 800.359.3854
Fuji IT-8 targets are shot on Provia. A 35mm target costs $500. It comes with a floppy disk containing the data file specific to that individual target.
You can buy the 35mm Kodak IT-8 target for $35 and download the data file from the net. That data file is a general description of a batch of 500 IT-8's.

Junebug,
The Fuji target is "hand" measured and the data disk is specific to that actual IT8 slide you get iin the little envelope. Some say it is worth $500. It could pay a small % of the cost of a GretagMacbeth SpectroLino Table for measuring transmissive targets, hmm may be not
I have hand measured ALL my reflective IT8 targets using the GretagMacbeth EyeOne and the results of calibration using the new target specific data files are significantly better.

Ian,
If we could all just afford a GretagMacbeth EyeOne System...
Life would be good
