LaserSoft Imaging

When worrking with dense or thin negatives, I can get the desired image levels I want by selecting a small part of the image. How do I keep those levels from changing when I resize the selection? I have been able to do this in the past, and I have no idea why or how this changes.

that's exactly what i want to know too. and even more: when i've got a prescan of several negatives, and the active selection frame is looking good, i want to move the frame to the next slide, WITHOUT changing any levels or color settings. is that possible?
