i'm using studio ai 6.4 standalone on an intel mac with an epson 4990. my cms options are set to embed adobe 1998 profile but when the scan is finished and imported to cs3 photoshop the profile is never adobe 1998.
sometimes it's one of the sf_t profiles, other times is sRGB...
any ideas what's going on?

asfberg,
When you say standalone do you mean you are scanning and saving the files and then opening those files in CS3?
Have you double checked your settings in CS3 to make sure it is not changing the profile?

Well,
My settings in SilverFast are as follows and I'm not having this problem:
Input -> Internal "Image Color Matching (ICM)"
Internal -> Monitor "Image Color Matching (ICM)"
Internal -> Output "RGB"
Scanner (Reflective) "Epson Perfection4990"
Scanner (Transparency) "SF_T (Epson Perfection4990)"
Internal "Adobe RGB (1998)"
Embedded ICC Profile is checked and set to Adobe RGB (1998)
Please note: I am using the Plug-in Vs Stand-alone
