LaserSoft Imaging

I am trying to scan multiple documents (200 pages). I thought the batch scan would allow me to do this. You know, scan a page, put the next one on, scan it, and it would all compile into one printable document.

Did I misunderstand the feature?

Is there some way to do this?

does the scanner have an ADF ? Otherwise scan to tiff files and import into PDF to assemble the document.

No, it doesn't have an adf.

I just thought that batch meant I could create a big file which included all the scanned pages instead of having to scan them all individually into individual files and then combine them some other way.

The software that came with my scanner is fine otherwise, so I guess I'm out a lot of money.

SilverFast's batch mode allows you to scan multiple images to individual files.

If you are trying to scan multiple documents into one file you might consider a program such as Adobe Acrobat Pro. You would use SilverFast TWAIN from within Acrobat to control the tonality of your scan, and Acrobat would allow you to assemble the scanned pages they way you describe.
