GANE and BW neg film

I've tried GANE with BW TriX and TMax film along with NegaFix on my 5400II dimage scanner. In the GANE dialoge box I see a noticeable difference in grain being eliminated in the before and after boxes. However, when I scan the image I see no difference at all. I've scanned in all levels (low, medium, and high). Does GANE not work in BW film? If it does, what am I doing wrong?? Thanks Lucian

this is a bug we noticed recently and that we have just fixed. The fix will be included in the next release 642r7.

Dear PM,

prior to version 642r7 GANE did not work with bw films due to a bug, starting with version 642r7 GANE does work with bw films as this bug is fixed now.
