"Proofing RGB data in a simulated CMYK preview"

I just read about the new Silverfast Photo Proof and think it might help us with the colour shift problem when changing from RGB to CMYK.
We do have a RGB workflow with the ECI-RGB profile. The RGB data is converted in the Creo RIP of our printer to CMYK Euroscale coated but there happen ugly colour shifts noticeable in the blue sky, which looks than quite artificially.
When I use "Proofing RGB data in a simulated CMYK preview", can I play around with the RGB view and see a simulated view of the CMYK?
