Dear Board Members,
actually I am trying to scan a 4 x 6 cm magazine picture and fix the output resolution to 100 dpi on a final size of 200 x 300 cm (2 x 3 meters) = Like you can see, it's going to be a BIG poster in the end.
Now everytime I try to define the Output or change the Scale / dpi Options, SF doesn't allow me to go further: It seems that the program does have a kind of limit or restriction in defining these parameters.
ANY help or tip would be very appreciated - I am stuck in the middle of an important job. Please show me how you do your calculations with SilverFast AI regarding the measurements mentioned above: I am new to this software.
Best Regards from Berlin,
Bobby.
Output Resolution Problems... Please HELP!
Dear Bobby,
could you set you Q-Factor to a higher value, default should be 1.5.
Just a little a tip Q-Factor set to "1" and no interpolation
300 dpi output resolution and scaled 1000% would create a scan resolution of 3000 dpi. For higher scaling you need to interpolate cause your scanner resolution can't go higher.
kind regards
