film cleaning advice, rejoining film strips
PostPosted: Thu Mar 04, 2004 5:21 pm
can anyone advise me?
1. much of my negative film has marks on it. they're not scratches and they don't seem to wipe off easily. ICE doesn't clear them either. I suspect that they're mold. does anyone know how to clean the mold off the film leaving the film spotlessly clean?
2. I have a roll adapter but much of my film was developed before I attained the adapter and is therefore in strips of 4 or 6 frames. has anyone ever tried to rejoin strips of film to recreate the whole roll of film? super glue perhaps? using the roll adapter would be far more efficient than swapping strips of film all day/night long.
regards
Gregory
