SF AI 6. Question about rewind of a film.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 20, 2004 5:49 pm
Good afternoon. I want to ask the next question concerning job SF 6 AI.
Using Job Manager has paid attention to the following problem.
I shall try to describe all actions and result of job of the program " step by step ".
My scanner - Microtek Film Scan 3600. My software - SF 6 ai ver 6.2.0.r2.
Task: I need to scan a film in length of 37 staff.
The decision.
1. I start SF.
2. I insert a film in length of 37 staff.
3. I open " Job Manager ".
4. I open " Add images from the overview "
5. I choose (holding pressed key Shift) 37 staff and I press "Add".
6. I choose created by me before adjustment in a window "Options" and I press "OK".
7. I choose a folder for storage of the staff (" Choose folder " in " Job Manager ")
8. I note the first the staff in a window " Job Manager " and I choose "Edit" in the contextual menu (by pressing the right button of the mouse).
9. I press "Prescan" in the main window (" Job Editor ")
SF writes " Measuring exposure time ", and then preliminary scanning the staff is carried out.
10. I adjust the staff (the size, colors and the rest).
11. I press "Save" and I leave from a mode of editing of the staff (repeatedly I choose "Edit" in the contextual menu by pressing by the right button of the mouse the staff in " Job Manager ")
12. I press "Start" in " Job Manager " (thus chosen there is the first the staff).
After that SF writes " Image Auto Ajust " and wastes a film up to the end, then returns a film on the first the staff and only after that starts it to scan.
---------------------
Other staff after that are scanned normally (right after pressing "Start" the film is wasted up to the necessary staff and scanning begins).
The question in what - what for SF wastes all film in point 12?
PS. And today, after the computer has stopped during scanning (I have switched on digital video in port IEEE1394, and there at me the scanner), after restart in SF in " Add images from the overview " has remained only one staff. And as to me now to create the new task for scanning all film I do not know.
Thanks.
Grigory.
