What is the best way to scan a pyro developed negativ. The negative devoloped this way has a yellow stain which is proportional to the image forming silver. Should I scan in colour or in grayscale?
In the CMS options there is provisions for including a greyscale profile. What does it do and if I need one how do I get it?

If you wish the scan commin' out as b/w , then you should scan greyscale. This is the best to eliminate any colorcasts from the negativ and the scanner.
The greyprofile is in most cases only like a gamma set. This is to get Photoshop and SilverFast on one line with grey picture, if you use in both the same greyprofile.
