Which printer to use?

I really do not know if the question belongs in this forum. I would appreciate some advices considering which printer one should use in order to get good prints. I am looking for A3 inkjet printer and it will be used mainly printing images from scanned slides.

Hi!
The Epson 2200P (2100P in Europe) is very fine, and I have heard wonderful things about the Canon 9100. I have an earlier Epson (870-- A4 only) and I love the results; experienced photographers cannot guess that prints were made on an inkjet. There is a learning curve involved in getting good results from any inkjet, but it is not as bad as trying to get SF to work properly <g>!
