Using SilverFast 8 r08 Ai and have been trying to remove Scratchs and Dust on B&W negatives. Forgot about iSRD be cause no matter the settings the software thinks it's one big scratch or piece of dust. Tried SRD and adjusted all the variables and I still cannot get a decent image tho it is a lot better than using iSRD. Any suggestions.

Dear Dewey,

infrared scratch and dust removal unfortunately can not be used with silver halide based B&W film. The emulsion blocks the scanner's infrared channel.
That is why we offer the SRDx correction tool.
