Hi there:
I am using SilverFast 8.2 with an EPSON Xpressions11000XL scanner. When I attempt the IT8 Calibration using the LaserSoft Imaging color spectrum that came with the software I get a dialog box saying, "IT8 Calibration succeeded with DeltaE = 0.6. The tutorial online states that should recieve a confirmation that the calibration succeeded with DeltaE = 1.0. Should I be concerned? Am I getting the truest color I can?
See attached screenshot.
Thanks for your help.
DeltaE=0.6

Re: DeltaE=0.6
Dear user,
The image in the manual is only a sample.
The Delta E states the quality of the calibration. The lower the value the better.
A value of 0.6 is exelent.
Kind regards,
Arne
