I would appreciate your advice and recommendations as to the correct workflow to scan 35mm slides with Silverfast Ai v6 to 42 bit color HDR format so I can eventually print up to 11 x 14 and correct using Silverfast HDR. My Nikon LS 4000 is IT-8 calibrated and the output is set to 11 x 14, q factor 1.0, and dpi of 300. After scanning and saving, I open the tiff file using HDR, which is set at Q factor 1.0, screen lpi of 300, and make color and image corrections, and save as a 42>24 bit color tiff. I print with Qimage Pro.
On the color management front, AI is set to Scanner internal - Color Synch, monitor- automatic, output- RGB, Profiles ? scanner - Nikon400 ICM, internal Adobe RGB 98, printer none, rendering perceptual and check for embedded ICC (Adobe RGB 98 ).
HDR is set the same.
Any advice about inconsistencies or recommendations would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Correct work flow and color mgmt using AI to HDR
