Hi, I am scanning lots of old negatives on a Nikon Coolscan 4000, and almost all of them have dust and scratches. I like the iSRD function, but is there a way to skip the initial iSRD scan? Just make it automatically apply iSRD to every frame when scanning them in?
Thanks!
Automatic iSRD?

Re: Automatic iSRD?
Dear customer,
I am not entirely sure what you mean. You do not need to do an infrared preview (that can be configured in the preferences' Special tab).
But the infrared scann during the main scan of cause is necessary.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: Automatic iSRD?
Hmm... so that preference has been checked:

So I go to the Overview, add multiple frames to the Job Manager, and then automatically there's a preview of the first frame.
No IR scan is done.
I hit the iSRD button, and this appears:

If I hit the "1:1" button, then there's an IR scan.
Is that normal?

Re: Automatic iSRD?
Dear customer,
Did you create a new 1:1 Prescan?
The setting will not go active for the current scan. You have to redo that.
I am still not sure what exactly you are trying to do.
If you just want iSRD to be active you only have to click the iSRD button.
When the red dot is in it the function is active for the scan.
The Infrared scan of cause is necessary for this function to be possible.
Your second mage was not shown.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
